Training of experts to assess soils damaged due to hostilities

SPECIALISTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • take samples of soil damaged due to hostilities;
  • analyze soil samples for pollutants using modern equipment (PxRF);
  • record the environmental consequences of hostilities using GIS technologies and remote sensing tools;
  • conduct a study of the hostilities consequences using aerial photographs. Processing of aerial images using GIS software;
  • use data from ground-based hyperspectrometric measurements to assess the condition of soil;
  • provide the assessment of damages caused by hostilities to agricultural land.
