Most of all, I liked the comprehensive approach that the project managers were able to organize. The most modern measurement methods and devices, such as drones, were considered during two weeks of training. The professionalism of the lecturers, who were mostly practitioners, was fascinating. That was not limited to “mean” information, we were given a lot of practice and tried to use the knowledge independently. Bright emotions were evoked by a practical session during which we launched a UAV. I did it for the first time. Two weeks of training have passed, and the creation of a report and its defence are ahead. That is great that we, during the development of projects, have the opportunity to consult with any lecturer.

The courses were well-structured. The course programme was well-thought-out, full of topics and practical tasks. It should be noted that practical classes made it possible to get acquainted with the equipment, its technical characteristics, and to acquire basic skills in working with devices. The continuation of the development of these topics, which was the data processing by means of special programmes, was also interesting. It is worth noting the work of the dining room, delicious dishes and pastries. The careful attitude of the university management towards the project was more than felt.
“Any soul hurts when we see how the fields are burning”
Such training is useful and relevant. The specialists should be prepared for work in advance. The war will end, there will be a lot of work, not for one decade. People need to be trained, there are few specialists in this field. There are many agronomists at the front, even in my unit, and each of us is heartbroken when we see how fields with unharvested wheat, barley, and sunflower are burning. Everyone is aware of how terrible it is for ecology, how soil biota are destroyed. Even wild animals come to us and we take care of them. It goes without saying that we can talk about this topic forever… but something must be done to restore what has not yet been lost.
