Sumy National Agrarian University and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency have signed the grant agreement for INTEREPO, “EU Integrated Reporting: Linking Finance, Sustainability and Governance”. The project is funded through the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Modules action.
Both parties signed the agreement on 18 September 2026. The three-year project will start on 1 October 2026. Sumy National Agrarian University will coordinate and deliver it.
INTEREPO addresses a question that matters to businesses, professionals and researchers: how do we assess an organisation when financial figures alone do not tell the full story? The project will examine financial reporting alongside sustainability disclosures and governance information. EU policies, legal instruments and standards will provide the basis for its teaching.
The SNAU team will update a Master’s course in accounting and financial reporting under international standards. The university will also introduce a new elective on the EU sustainability reporting framework, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). A bilingual online certificate course will offer another route into the subject for learners with different backgrounds.
The programme includes at least 130 teaching hours each year, supported by applied research, academic publications and an international final conference. Students will gain a practical understanding of EU reporting approaches, while professionals and researchers will have opportunities to discuss their use.
The INTEREPO website will share updates on course development, enrolment, learning materials and research results.
