INTEREPO opens with a round table attended by 27 participants

Published: September 24, 2026

On 24 September, the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module INTEREPO, “EU Integrated Reporting: Bridging Finance, Sustainability and Governance,” held its inaugural round table and pre-launch meeting. The hybrid event brought together 27 students, lecturers and professors from Sumy, the Sumy region and other parts of Ukraine.

The team presented the project’s aims and three areas of work. In education, INTEREPO will update a Master’s course in accounting and financial reporting, develop a course on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and offer a bilingual certificate course. In research, the team will examine the links between financial reporting, sustainability and corporate governance and prepare academic publications. Through open dialogue, the project will connect expert discussions, public lectures and an international conference with its Knowledge Platform. The platform will provide learning resources, practical case studies and research findings. Project news will cover learning opportunities, research, events and developments in EU reporting.

After the presentation, participants discussed how EU approaches to sustainability reporting can be taught and applied in the Ukrainian context. The meeting also introduced opportunities to take part in INTEREPO’s forthcoming educational and research activities.
